Whitehouse Post’s Alaster Jordan Heads to NYC

Longtime Whitehouse Post Editor and Partner Alaster Jordan will relocate from London to New York at the first of the year, fine-tuning the distribution of the company’s top talents while underscoring Whitehouse’s longstanding commitment to nurturing its roster of up-and-coming editors. The move comes at a time of tremendous momentum for Whitehouse Post, with a record volume of work prompting the celebrated post house to increase its editorial fire power in one of the industry’s busiest markets.

“I’m really looking forward to having Alaster in NYC as the Whitehouse Partners and EPs collaborate very closely” notes Whitehouse Post NYC EP Lauren Hertzberg. “Not only is he a fantastic leader and colleague, but he’s also one of our most experienced and accomplished editors.”

Jordan is ideally positioned to take on a senior role in New York, having had more than 20 years experience working with directors and agencies in the city. Whilst engaging with his new office’s business and management duties, Jordan will continue to utilize his editorial skills for his high profile New York clients and continue his prolific output.

“The move really made a lot of sense for me,” explains Jordan. “I’ve always enjoyed working with the agencies and directors in New York and this will be great chance to grow those relationships while working closely with the NYC office’s fantastic team.”

Jordan’s recent award-winning work includes the bonhomie-laced Puma Hardchorus sing along, a hilarious Jean Claude Van Damme campaign for Coors Light, a pair of spots for the British Heart Foundation, and a Walkers(Lays) spot. His reel has also included work for Dr Pepper, BMW, Budweiser, Toyota, McDonald’s, Mini, Optimum, Vodafone, T-Mobile and Volkswagen. Jordan’s work has won several prestigious industry awards, including honors from BTAA, D&AD, Creative Circle, Cannes, CLIO, One Show, APA, Adweek and the Shark Awards. Prior to joining Whitehouse Post, Jordan ran his own company, Johnny Bongo.
